Itinerary
Bishkek → South Issyk-Kul
Morning departure from Bishkek and scenic drive toward the lake.
Skazka Canyon
Stop for a short hike through the Fairy Tale Canyon’s colorful sandstone formations.
Bokonbaevo village
Arrival at a yurt camp near the lake, traditional lunch and rest.
Horseback Riding (Tosor area)
Afternoon ride along the lakeshore or in nearby hills with a local guide.
Overnight in Yurt (Issyk-Kul)
Dinner and overnight stay in a lakeside yurt with views of the mountains.
Drive to Karakol
Scenic drive to Karakol with optional visit to Dungan Mosque or Russian Orthodox Church.
Altyn Arashan Valley
Transfer by 4x4 into the alpine valley; relax in natural hot springs.

Bishkek - Burana Tower - Boom Gorge - Bokonbaeva
Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Bishkek, as you make your way to the Burana Tower in the small town of Tokmok.

At the Burana Tower, be prepared to be transported back in time as you explore the ancient mausoleums, buildings, and artifacts discovered by archaeologists. Climb to the top of the tower and take in the breathtaking views of the Chui valley and Tien-Shan mountains. Visit the small museum, where you will learn about the rich history and culture of Kyrgyzstan and the open-air museum, showcasing gravestones, rock drawings, and other fascinating historical objects.

Continuing on to the Boom Gorge, get ready to be mesmerized by the stunning scenery and flowing waters of the Chu river. This connecting link between the Chui valley and Yssyk-Kul lake is a must-see for any traveler. Enjoy a delicious lunch of national puff cakes and tea boiled in a traditional Russian samovar, for a truly authentic experience.

The highlight of your day will be a visit to Bokonbayevo village, the birthplace of eagle hunting. Meet the Berkutchi, an eagle's owner, and learn about the fascinating art of eagle hunting. Watch in awe as you witness a live eagle hunting show, including flying, catching prey, and hunting. You will even have the opportunity to take pictures with the Golden Eagle and participate in an archery masterclass.

After a full day of exploring, relax and unwind at our cozy yurt camp on the shore of the Yssyk-Kul lake. Indulge in a delicious dinner and spend the night in a traditional yurt, surrounded by the peaceful tranquility of the lake and mountains

Bokonbaeva - Fairly Tale Canyon - Barskoon waterall - Jeti Oguz - Karakol
Embark on an adventure of a lifetime on the second day of your tour and awaken your senses with a sumptuous breakfast in a traditional yurt. Get ready to marvel at the enchanting beauty of Kyrgyzstan as we drive towards Skazka Canyon. The canyon is a fairy tale land of majestic rock formations and sculptures carved by nature's winds. Get ready for a journey through history as we visit Jeti-Oguz Canyon, known for its stunning sandstone formations shaped like seven bulls and the "broken heart." This famous landmark has inspired countless poems, paintings, and music videos and is a must-visit for any traveler to Kyrgyzstan. Do 3-4 hours of horseback riding to Kok-Zhaik valley and to its waterfall(optional).

The trails around Altyn Arashan vary in difficulty but consistently offer awe-inspiring views of the surrounding peaks and lush valleys. Karakol - Semenov/Grigoriev Gorges - Cholpon Ata - Bishkek
Embark on a journey through the heart of Karakol and uncover the town's rich history and vibrant culture. Your knowledgeable English-speaking guide will take you on a tour of the most interesting and lesser-known sites, including the charming Dungan Mosque, the striking Russian Orthodox Church, and the bustling Bugu Bazaar. As you explore the streets and markets, you'll hear the fascinating stories and legends of Karakol, gaining a unique insight into the daily life of the town.

Next, escape to the stunning Grigoriev & Semenov Gorges and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Tien-Shan mountains. As you wander the slopes blanketed in red poppies and listen to the soothing sounds of mountain streams, you'll have the opportunity to taste traditional Kyrgyz cuisine in a cozy yurt. Horse lovers can even take a leisurely ride on horseback, soaking in the breathtaking landscape. Afterwards, we will continue through the Grigoriev Gorge to the Semenovskaye Gorge, surrounded by lush spruce forests and fragrant herbs.
